Single-Size FatBoy Plugsters™
Single-size FatBoy Plugsters™ are economical inflatable plugs that can be used in a variety of applications to block flow and hold pressure. The plugs come with a ¼-inch or 3/8-inch eyebolt to lift and lower the plug and come in a range of sizes to accommodate most nominal pipe sizes.
Multi-Size FatBoy Plugsters™
Our multi-size FatBoy Plugsters™ are ideal for rental houses as well as municipalities and contractors that maintain and install pipes with a variety of diameters.
Multi-Size FatBoy Plugsters™ are versatile inflatable plugs that can block flow and hold vacuum pressure or air pressure in any pipe that falls within the plugs usage range. The plugs come with a removable/replaceable 1/4″ QD Nipple. Plugs 12″—24″ and larger have an optional Max-Guard™ (relief valve) available.
FatBoy Testers™
FatBoy Testers™ are available in diameters from 3.75 inches to 61.5 inches and lengths between 16 inches and 95 inches. Every 6″-10″ and larger FatBoy Tester™ comes standard with ¾-inch and ¼-inch bypasses so users can effortlessly switch between applications without renting or purchasing additional plugs.
FatBoy Guzzlers and Max-Guzzlers ™
Our Guzzler plugs can be used for bypassing flow, air testing and blocking flow making them the most versatile plugs we offer. Our Guzzler™ plugs cover pipe sizes ranging from 3”-4” up to 24”-60” and all plugs larger than 15”-30” include flexible bypasses for easy installation.
Fill Kits and Retrieval Rope
Plug Technologies Fill Kits are some of the hardest-working pieces of equipment at your construction site. The Max-HD hoses are Plug Technologie’s most durable hoses and come standard with a Bend Restrictor preventing the hose from bending at the fitting, making them longer lasting and less likely to wear out at the fittings. The retrieval rope allows the user to lift and lower the complete line of plugs in and out of the manhole. The gauge tree allows the user to quickly and safely inflate and deflate pipe plugs from outside of the danger zone.
Manhole Vacuum Testing Equipment
Plug Technologies’ Flat-Max™ plate style vacuum testing heads are used in conjunction with the Max-Vac™ Venturi Pump II to evacuate the air from a manhole while performing a manhole vacuum test. The 38” Flat-Max™ weighs only 45 pounds and has two lifting handles allowing one person to perform a vacuum test. Both the 555-38 (38” OD) and 555-44 (44” OD) Flat-Max include Plug Technologies’ new Cam-Lock® connection between the Flat-Max and the Max-Vac II Venturi pump. The Cam-Lock® fittings allow for a secure and stable connection between the Max-Vac™ II and the Flat-Max™ allowing for maximum vacuum.
